As we kind of suspected, the Game of the Day turned out to be a bit of a bust. Gorham raced out to a 21-5 lead and held on for a 64-51 win over the defending champs. Ashton Leclerc led Gorham with 25.
It was a big night around the state as we kicked off the season.
The Scoreboard struggled a little bit to keep up, but in the end it did ok. And there hasn't been a lot of movement in the Heal Points yet, obviously, but those are updated too.
With all the coaching turnover, it was inevitable that a bunch of coaches would get their first career wins last night.

Kate Brydges iced the game at the free throw line and Allie Flagg drops 29 in the opener to lead the Brewer girls over Hampden Academy for the first time in many years.
